WORKSHOPS & WEBINARS
Our workshops and webinars aim to educate as many people as possible about sensory processing difficulties. We offer in-house workshops at your premises and open programs where we invite participants from various organisations to join us in combating the stigma and prejudice faced by those who need our support the most.
INDUSTRY EVENTS
We participate in several industry events throughout the year. As part of our commitment to ensuring no person is left behind, these industry events are key to ensuring we showcase our capabilities and spread the word. If you would like us to exhibit or talk at your event, please get in touch.
FOCUS GROUPS
We host quarterly focus groups that bring together parents, teachers, HR leaders, SEND specialists, and members of the neurodivergent community. These focus groups are essential for fostering innovation and ensuring that Cubbie continues to evolve and thrive for the long term.
CUBBIE CONNECT FORUMS
Join Our Inclusive Forums: Empowering Parents, Teachers, and Neurodivergent Communities At Cubbie, we bring together parents, teachers, and neurodivergent individuals to share challenges, develop ideas, and support each other. A community challenge: Creating inclusive environments for everyone
The rising SEND and inclusive support needs in education and healthcare services are reshaping how community spaces are designed. Libraries, leisure centres, and other public spaces are adapting their environments to ensure they’re accessible and inclusive for everyone.
When everyday spaces are designed with accessibility in mind, everyone, including neurodivergent individuals, can feel safe, supported, and able to participate.

Castlebar and Swinford Libraries
We have seen an increase in footfall for all ages and are working more closely than ever before with local schools. It’s helping autistic and anxious people feel calm in less than 15 minutes. Parents of special needs children are more confident to visit the library now as they feel more welcome.

Manorhamilton Library
Since Cubbie was introduced the library has seen a very positive impact it has made on the service. Cubbie has made the library more inclusive and accessible to our users and wider community.

Sensory rooms: Integration for inclusion
Sensory rooms have become a staple in many schools. They are designed as calming spaces where children can take a break from sensory overload. The intention is always to support. However, as we enhance our understanding of inclusion, it’s essential to ask: is there a way to support regulation without creating separation?

Understanding sensory processing disorder: A silent struggle
Imagine living in a world where every sound feels like a roar, where the touch of clothing feels like sandpaper on your skin, or where bright lights seem like a constant, unbearable glare. This is the reality for individuals with SPD, a condition that remains largely misunderstood and
under-recognised.

The lifelong impact of sensory
processing disorder: From childhood to adulthood
Explore the deeper impacts of SPD on individuals as they transition from childhood into adolescence and adulthood. Understanding the statistics and long-term effects can help in creating more effective support systems and raising awareness about this often-overlooked condition.
Whether you’re looking to support inclusion and accessibility or reduce the strain on staff capacity and resources, Cubbie is here to help you create inclusive spaces where everyone can regulate, participate, and thrive.
