Meet David McIntyre, Founder & CEO of Cubbie, and the driving force behind our mission to support neurodiverse children and promote sensory wellbeing in schools and beyond.

 

David and his wife Diane are proud parents of four daughters. When two of their children were diagnosed with autism, they found themselves asking the same questions many families face: How will our children thrive in a mainstream school environment? What support exists to help them regulate and succeed?

Out of these real, lived experiences came a powerful idea - to create a safe, inclusive space that helps children with autism, sensory processing differences, and other neurodivergent conditions feel calm, focused, and ready to learn. That idea became Cubbie.

Today, Cubbie is transforming how schools and workplaces approach sensory regulation, making a meaningful difference in the lives of students, families, and staff across the UK and Ireland.
